LAKEWOOD, NJ- We need you, GCU! Get your nomination forms ready and mark your calendars as Georgian Court University athletics prepares to induct its next class into the Lions Hall of Fame on Friday, October 5th, 2012.

The Lions Hall of Fame recognizes those who have made a significant contribution to Georgian Court athletics, either as a student-athlete, coach, administrator, individual, or collective team.

The criteria for each category is as follows:

Student-Athletes
Eligible for nomination five years after the last year of participation AND graduation from Georgian Court. Student-athletes MUST have graduated from Georgian Court.

Administrators/Coaches
Must have worked at Georgian Court for a minimum of 10 years.

Contributors  
Individuals who have made significant contributions to Georgian Court athletics.

Teams
Have won a national championship or recieved national recognition .

2012 will mark GCU's first Hall of Fame induction since the original class of Robyn Saul Magovern '90, '92; Gail Scardillo Caverly '85; Carol Walters '91; Stacey Ryan Weinert '94 and Carolyn "Nickie" Kelly Malanda '97 were honored on February 8, 2003.

All nominations are due by March 1, 2012. Forms may be sent via mail to: Georgian Court University, Alumni Engagement, 900 Lakewood Avenue, Lakewood, NJ 08701. Submissions will also be accepted by E-mail (alumni@georgian.edu) or fax (732-987-2075).
