WILMINGTON, Del. (April 27, 2025) - The No. 3 vs. No. 6 matchup of the CACC Tournament saw Georgian Court Softball have to travel to Wilmington, Delaware to take on the three-seeded Goldey-Beacom Lightning. GCU, as the No. 6 seed, had to win twice to advance while GBC only needed one win. Both games saw outstanding pitching performances as there was just three combined runs in 16 innings. The Lions were on the plus side of a 1-0 shutout in game one, but on the short end of a 2-0 shutout in game two.
