Lakewood, N.J. - Georgian Court University, behind its second-straight 90+ point performance, outlasted Felician University Saturday afternoon by a score of 96-84 to conclude the 2019-20 women's basketball campaign. The Lions finish the year on a high-note as the royal and gold enter the off-season with a three-game winning streak.

GCU (10-16, 8-11 CACC) owned a healthy 25-16 lead after the initial quarter of play before dropping a 30-spot in the second to take a commanding 55-30 surplus into intermission. The Lions' cushion increased to a game-high 31 points when a Leighanna Lister layup made the score 73-42 home team with 4:30 to go in the third frame.

The Golden Falcons (4-22, 3-16 CACC) refused to roll over in its final contest on the calendar as the visitors mounted a 42-26 run to close the game.

Jada Atchison, in her final collegiate outing, buried a team-best 24 points (including four three-pointers) to go along with six boards and four assists. Savawn Hughes closed out a sensational year as the freshman countered with 19 points of her own. Safiyyah Lee added 11 points on the day while Tian Addison dropped in 10.

Tiara Mahorn (Fr.-Irvington, N.J.) provided to an impressive double-double performance for Felician with her 31 points and 12 rebounds.
