Lakewood, N.J. - Head coach Jazz Perazic announced today that Erika Aspajo of Barcelona, Spain will be joining the Georgian Court University women's basketball program this fall as the newest member of the Lions' Class of '25.

"Erika is a true point guard with a style of play that matches perfectly with our team," stated Coach Perazic. "She is a pass-first player who can score and, most importantly, defend. I am confident that Erika will propel us to new heights of success ... and am excited to welcome her to her new American family!"

Looking to study digital communications once at Georgian Court, Erika aspires to be a journalist and travel the world. "I feel Georgian Court is a very familiar environment where I can learn and grow as a person," shared Aspajo. "I want to mature as an individual, make friends, adapt to a new country, and be more social!"

The 5'6" Aspajo, who did not have athletics at her high school, played for various club teams such as Basquet Draft Gramenet, Barca CBS, and Femeni Sant Adria.
