Lakewood, N.J. - Playing its first home game since March 12, Georgian Court University coasted past Caldwell University Saturday, 20-4, as the Lions improve to 3-0 in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference play (4-7 overall) while extending their winning streak vs. CACC foes to 45-straight (including postseason).
Improving to 9-1 all-time vs. Caldwell, GCU has not fallen in a conference contest since losing to the Cougars (0-6, 0-2 CACC) at home back on April 16, 2016
12 different Lions registered points in the win.
Isabel Raimondi topped the victors with five points on the day (two goals, three assists).
Sabrina Chandler followed with a hat trick and a helper (four points).
Kasha Elzinga enjoyed a hat trick of her own while
Heather Devaney and
Remi Reinhardt contributed two tallies and an assist each.
Alexis Hahn played splendidly in the Georgian Court cage, recording 11 saves over 60:00 for the victory.
The Lions see their next action this Tuesday at 3:00 p.m. when Holy Family University visits campus for another CACC contest.
