RUTHERFORD, NJ (April 22, 2024) - After seeing their four game win streak come to a halt Saturday afternoon, Georgian Court Women's Lacrosse got right back in the win column with a big 21-2 win over Felician. The win gets GCU to 10 on the season and moves them to 6-2 in the CACC.
How it Happened
• Georgian Court dominated the draw control winning 22-of-27.
• The extra-possessions gave the Lions a 41-11 advantage in total shots.
• The Lions were successful on 16-17 clear attempts and turned the ball over just 12 times. Felician cleared the ball 10-22 times and committed 17 turnovers.
First Period
• Georgian Court put up a nine-spot in the first quarter. It was part of a 13-0 run for the Lions to start the game.

Remi Reinhardt and
Riley O'Connor traded the first four goals before
Isabel Raimondi scored twice. The Lions led 6-0 3:02 into the game.Â
• O'Connor and Raimondi each picked up hat tricks in the first and
Kasha Elzinga scored to end the frame with GCU ahead 9-0.
Second Period
• The Lions were much more deliberate in the third and used up a lot of clock.

Bryleigh Tejchman got them a 10-0 lead and a running clock at the 9:14 mark.
• Reinhardt collected her hat trick in the middle of the frame and Raimondi her fourth with 1:10 left before the half.
Third Period
• O'Connor started the second half with a woman-up goal in the first minute.
• Felician broke the shutout with a goal at the 10:33 mark.
• GCU finished out the period with another Tejchman goal and two from
Gianna Nardini.
Fourth Period
• The Golden Falcons tacked on another goal early in the fourth.
• O'Connor and Tejchman each collected another goal.

• Georgian Court is now 8-0 all-time against Felician. This is the second straight year the Lions scored 21 on the Golden Falcons.

Riley O'Connor scored her 200th career goal. Just the second Lion to ever reach that figure.Â

• Georgian Court is scheduled to finish the regular season Thursday at Chestnut Hill. The Griffins were forced to forfeit their game over the weekend due to a lack of players. Should they have to forfeit again, it will go down as a win for the Lions and their next game will be in the CACC Tournament.Â
