Bridgeport, CT (Dec.13th, 2025) - Bridgeport outscored Georgian Court in every quarter, and defeated the Lions 64-53. 

First Half
• The Lions started hot with a 7-0 run. 
• Then it was the Purple Knights' turn, who matched that with a 10-0 run. 
• The Lions trailed for most of the 1st quarter. Karissa Smedley ended the quarter with five back-to-back points to bring the Lions to only trail by one going into the second.
• It was Karissa Smedley who gave the Lions a lead, opening up the second half. 
• Imani Gillette then had two back-to-back baskets to spark up the Lions' offense. They then went on an unanswered 6-0 run. 
 • Savannah Prescott had a layup for the Purple Knights to give them a two-point lead going into half. 

Second Half
• Another back-and-forth quarter for both teams. 
• Jade Dickinson opened up the quarter with a layup. 
• The Purple Knights went on an 9-0 run to end the third and take the lead by seven. 
• Bridgeport entered the fourth continuing their run, and extended their lead to 12. 
• The Lions could not cut the lead down in time. Bridgeport won 64-53. 

Lion Stat Leaders
• Karissa Smedley led the Lions with 19 points. 
• Amyah Bray and Imani Gillete had nine points. 
• Maria Stanescu added five points. 

For the Purple Knights
• Savannah Prescott had 19 points. 
• Karolina Andersson added in 15. 
• Niyah Whitten had 12 points.
