ORANGEBURG, NY (April 29, 2025) - Georgian Court Women's Lacrosse was once again playing in the CACC Tournament semifinals. The fourth-seeded Lions drew the No. 1 Dominican Chargers with a berth to the championship on the line. Georgian Court fell behind early and was unable to recover in a 20-5 loss, ending their season after going 6-3 in the CACC during the regular season.
How it Happened
• Dominican took a big advantage on draw controls, winning 19-27.
• That led to a 41-12 disparity in shots and 29-7 shots on goals.
• When Georgian Court did get possession, they turned the ball over 17 times while Dominican lost it just eight.
1st Quarter
• Dominican started the scoring early. They scored 35 seconds into the game for a 1-0 lead.
• The Chargers continued to pour it and and had a 5-0 lead 5:19 seconds in.

Michaela Scirrotto scored the first goal for the Lions to make it 6-1.
• Dominican finished the first with three more goals to take a commanding 9-1 lead.
2nd Quarter
• Georgian Court played better defensively, allowing just three goals in the second quarter.
• All three came in a row from the Chargers who pushed the lead to 12-1.

Isabel Raimondi scored with 2:49 to play in the half, making it a 12-2 halftime lead.
3rd Quarter
• Dominican outscored GCU 5-1 in the third.
• Georgian Court took a yellow card near the end of the first half, and the Chargers scored on the power play to open the third.

Nena Menard scored for Georgian Court midway through, but the Chargers struck three more times, including once shorthanded, and led 17-3 after three.
4th Quarter
• Dominican made it 18-3 before Scirrotto and Menard scored back-to-back for the Lions.
• The Chargers finished the game with two more goals to reach 20 and a 20-5 win.

Nena Menard scored three points with two goals and an assist. She picked up two ground balls as well.

Michaela Scirrotto scored twice as well.
• Jill Konshack won a team-best four draw controls.

Natalie Moradian came on in net in the first quarter and made 10 saves.

• Kristinamarie Kaszovitz finished with three saves in net for the win.
• Madelyn Grella scored four goals with four assists.
• Erica Ortiz won 12 draw controls, scored three times and dished out four assists.
• Grace DeStasio scored six goals.

• Georgian Court has made the CACC semifinals each year as a member of the CACC.

Isabel Raimondi finished her career playing in 76, matching the most all-time. She's the all-time points leader with 352 and scored 175 goals and 177 assists.

Natalie Moradian made her 200th career save.
