1st Quarter
•It was a slow start for both teams in Waterbury, CT, on Saturday, as neither scored in the first three minutes of the game.
• Jade Dickson scored a layup to put the Lions on the board.
• Scoring went back and forth in the first quarter, and GCU entered the second down three.
• Although the Lions trailed going into the second, they shot 30% better than the Eagles in the first.
2nd Quarter

• The Lions led by as much as five in the last minute.
• The Post Eagles tied the game in the final minute, sending it into halftime even.

• The Lions strung together several plays to take the lead.
• Imani Gillette sparked the run with a jumper followed by a layup.
• Karissa Smedley was in complete control, converting a layup for her 15th of the day.
