CALDWELL,NJ (Jan. 31st, 2026) - The Lions could not keep pace with the Cougars, who remain dominant at home.

How it Happened
• Georgian Court was out shot 35.4% to the Cougars 43.8%. 
• Frequent trips to the line paid off for the Cougars, who hit 31 of 42 free throws.
• The Cougars won every quarter of the game. 
• Caldwell had the lead for 94% of the game. 
1st Quarter
• Niyell McCargo put the Lions on the board to start the game with a jumper. 
• A back-and-forth quarter for both teams, Imani Gillette had a layup to bring the Lions within one. 
• Jah'Nel Lewis stepped to the line and hit two clutch free throws, pulling the margin back to three.
2nd Quarter
• The Cougars began the game with a 10-2 run. 
• Of the 19 points Caldwell scored in the second, nine were free throws. 
• The Lions trailed 27-37 going into the half. 
3rd Quarter
• Imani Giellette had a strong start for the Lions with a bucket and two free throws to start. 
• Another 10-2 run for Caldwell allowed them to regain control. 
• They led by 11 going into the final 10 minutes.
4th Quarter
•Amyah Bray opened up with a three for the Lions. 
•The Lions scored 17 in the quarter but were outpaced by the Cougars 21.
• The Lions fell 76-61 in the game.
