Stellar Performance Powers Women’s Lacrosse Past Felician

Rutherford, NJ (April 11th, 2026) -Georgian Court Women's Lacrosse surged to an 11–0 lead in the first half and went on to defeat Felician, 17–2.

How it Happened
• Georgian Court outshot Felician 30-12. 
• Felician turned the ball over 17 times, and the Lions just 13. 
• Ground balls were in favor of the Golden Falcons, 17-15. 
• GCU was in control of the draw controls; they had 13, and Felician had eight. 

First Period
• Less than a minute into the game, Michaela Scirrotto capitalized on a free-position chance to give the Lions an early lead.
• Three minutes later, Scirrotto netted her second goal of the game, and two minutes after that, Caitlin Petrellese added another to give the Lions their third.
• Five minutes later, Caitlin Petrellese scored again, and just 15 seconds after that, Gabrielle Battle recorded her first goal of the day. 

Second Period
Nena Menard got GCU off to a fast start, scoring less than a minute into the quarter.
Gabrielle Battle assisted Caitlin Petrellese on the Lions' seventh goal of the day.
Within 30 seconds of each other, Nena Menard got one in the net, followed shortly after by Gabrielle Battle.
Michaela Scirrotto capitalized on another free-position opportunity to give the Lions another goal.
• The Lions' 11th goal came from Adrianna Mosca to close out the half, assisted by Caitlin Petrellese.

Third Period
• Nena Menard struck again to open the scoring, putting the Lions ahead 12–0. 
•  Felician got on the board with a goal from Kathleen Lopez.
Jill Konschak found Nena Menard for Menard's fourth goal of the day.
Gabrielle Battle capped off the quarter with a goal for the Lions.

Fourth Quarter
Erynn Richey got on the board three minutes into the final quarter.
• Madison Cancela scored on a free-position opportunity for Felician.
Caitlin Petrellese added one more goal on the day, followed by Kaitlynn Marchese, who capped off the game. The Lions defeated Felician 17-2.
