LAKEWOOD, NJ (April 13, 2026) - Georgian Court Women's Lacrosse fell to Bloomsburg by one goal after the Huskies scored with 19 seconds left to take the lead.
How it Happened
• Most of the final numbers were close, indicating a tight game.
• Bloomsburg had 28 shots on goal and GCU 23.
• Turnovers were even at 18 apiece.
• It was a penalty-filled game with Bloomsburg called for seven cards and the Lions five.
• Bloomsburg had the advantage on the draw with 12 compared to the Lions seven.

1st Quarter
• Just a minute into the game, Bloomsburg had its first goal in a man- up situation.
• About six minutes later,
Nena Menard got the Lions their first goal of the game.

• Kayla Stressman cut the Lions lead to one off an assist from Emily Simpson.

Adrianna Mosca to restore the Lions two-goal lead.

Jill Konschak found the back of the net for GCU, adding to their tally.
• The Huskies added two more goals before halftime, cutting the deficit to one heading into the break.
3rd Quarter
• Bloomsburg struck first with a free-position goal to tie the game.

Caitlin Petrellese put the Lions back in front by one.

4th Quarter
• Wasting no time, the Huskies scored forty seconds into the fourth quarter.
• After a GCU penalty, Marykate Sitko capitalized on a man-up situation, which tied the game.
• Both teams went scoreless for eight minutes as each side battled for the lead.
• Marykate Sitko, with 19 seconds remaining, scored to give Bloomsburg the one-goal lead.
• Bloomsburg came up with the final draw control, which allowed them to hold the ball until time expired.
