LAKEWOOD, NJ (April 7th, 2026) - The Lions used a massive nine-goal surge in the second quarter to take control and secure another conference victory, moving to 3–1 in the CACC.
How it Happened
• Georgian Court had 29 shots and Holy Family just 12.
• Holy Family turned the ball over 20 times, and the Lions close behind with 17.
• Ground balls were in favor of GCU, 17-15.
• GCU was in control of the draw controls; they had 15, and Holy Family had three.
First Period
• Holy Family struck first three minutes into the game, Julia Leibig had the first goal of the game.
• Five minutes later,
Michaela Scirrotto got the Lions on the board.
• With two minutes remaining in the half,
Jill Konschak found
Adrianna Mosca to put the Lions up one.
Second Period
• The Lions had a powerful nine-goal second quarter to put some space between them and Holy Family.

Nena Menard's first goal of the game opened up scoring for both teams in the second.

Adrianna Mosca found her groove and got two in the net for the Lions.

Nena Menard was able to score two more for GCU in the quarter.

Caitlin Petrellese netted her first goal of the day with five minutes remaining in the quarter and added two more before the period ended, all assisted by
Gabrielle Battle.
• Another GCU goal, and this time from
Emily Smith, put the Lions up 11-1 going into the half.
Third Period
• A slow start for both teams, the first and only goal was not scored until five minutes remaining.
• It was Holy Family who broke the drought. Morgan Wise got the Tigers second goal on the board.
Fourth Quarter

Caitlin Petrellese's fourth goal came forty seconds into the half, assisted by
Jill Konschak.
