Georgian Court University men's lacrosse welcomes former MLL professional, Sean Eccles, to its coaching staff. Eccles was the 11th overall draft pick by the Denver Outlaws in 2019 after playing four years of NCAA Division I lacrosse at The University of Albany.
Eccles, a two-year captain at UAlbany, earned second team all-conference honors both seasons, in addition to additional regional accolades. During his collegiate tenure with the Great Danes, Eccles notched 83 goals and dished 28 assists while leading the Great Danes to the NCAA Division I National Championship Final Four in 2018.
Eccles joins the Lions after serving as the offensive coordinator for the Albany Academy Prep team in spring 2020.
