The Georgian Court University Lions Women’s Basketball team welcomes back alumnus,Jaelyn Tweedy ('18). Tweedy was a four-year starter for the Lions and a three-year captain. The 1,000-point career scorer earned the prestigious NJAIAW Woman of the Year award as a senior.
"I am certain that every coach feels excitement and pride when one of their former student athletes decides to embark on the coaching journey. It is wonderful to have Tweedy back. She brought an unmatched level of energy and enthusiasm to our team as a player and now she brings that same energy to her coaching style," stated Coach Perazic. "Tweedy is a great addition to our staff and has a promising future in the industry."
Tweedy assisted the Caldwell University women’s basketball team during their 2019-2020 season. Prior to her coaching career in America, Tweedy began her coaching career in Ireland where she helped guide rhe U16 Ireland Academy team to the 2019 championships in Salou, Spain.
