Milan Filipovich

Graduate Assistant Coach | 2nd Season 

Milan Filipovich is in his second season as a graduate assistant coach for Georgian Court Women's Basketball. He comes to Lakewood having recently graduated from Mount Marty University in South Dakota.

Filipovich has an extensive background in coaching and strength and conditioning. At Mount Marty from 2020-22, he worked in the weight room with the strength and conditioning coach with the women's basketball, women's volleyball, men's and women's soccer and track and field programs.

Prior to coming overseas, Filipovich was an assistant coach for the under-14 boys Ratgeber Laszlo International Basketball Camp in Hungary. There he worked with top Hungarian coaches teaching basketball fundamentals and drills. 

Filipovich also lent a helping hand in the Yankton, SD area, helping with flood relief, volunteering with the Special Olympics and the South Dakota Human Services Center soccer clinic.
