Kristina Ortiz joined the Georgian Court University Department of Athletics in August 2019 as a graduate assistant and now serves as the Assistant Director of Athletics for Compliance.

Prior to joining Georgian Court, Ortiz attended Lynn University (Boca Raton, Fla.) where she was a women’s golf student-athlete and earned her bachelor’s degree in International Business Management with a minor in Sports Management.

While at Lynn, Krissy served on the NCAA Division II National Student-Athlete Advisory (SAAC). During her time on National SAAC, she served on the NCAA Committee on Sportsmanship and Ethical Conduct and the Division II Management Council. Krissy also served on the NCAA COVID-19 Medical Advisory Group and the NCAA Board of Governors Student-Athlete Engagement Committee where championed for the student-athlete voice and experience. In 2019, Krissy was named a Top-9 Finalist for the NCAA Woman of the Year Award.

In May 2021, Ortiz earned her master’s degree in business administration from Georgian Court University.
