Mags Gigliotti (pronounced: JILL-ott-ee) completed her first season as Georgian Court Acrobatics and Tumbling Head Coach in 2025-26. It was her second year with the program after serving as an assistant in 2024-25.
In her first year at the helm, the Lions won two matches and averaged 198.91 points per meet. They scored a season-high 215.295 in a meet at La Salle, the second-most points in program history. In two events, compulsory and acro, GCU set program meet records. The Lions excelled in the acro event this season. The top-four marks in program history all came from the 2025-26 season. Georgian Court's tumbling also saw improvement under Coach Gigliotti. They set a new high in the quad pass, scoring 6.65 against American International, their first time scoring more than six points. In the individual passes, Allie Pompliano twice scored a program-high 7.875 in the open pass and was named the GCU Female Breakout Athlete of the Year.
As an assistant with the Lions in 2024-25, Gigliotti helped GCU to vast improvements in team and individual scores. The Lions won three matches, setting numerous team records in the process. That includes scoring above 200 team points for the first time, and reaching 200 in each of the last four meets.
Gigliotti was a 2024 graduate of Fairmont State, where she was a four-year member of the Falcons Acrobatics and Tumbling team. While competing at Fairmont State, Gigliotti was a base and a tumbler for the Falcons. She was a part of three teams that advanced to the NCATA National Championship meet and two Mountain East Conference Championships.
In addition to her time competing and coaching Acrobatics and Tumbling, Gigliotti also has extensive experience as a Gymnastics Coach at TNT Elite Gymnastics where she taught fundamental gymnastics skills to young athletes from 2016-2024.
Gigliotti has continued her coaching education attending the 2024 and 2025 NCATA Summit and was selected for the Proper Progression Program which is the organizations program designed to help graduating student-athletes transition into coaching. She is also a member of WeCoach, a Women's Coaches Organization, attending the 2022, 2023, and 2024 "Catch a Vision" Aspiring Women in Coaching Workshops.
