LAKEWOOD, NJ- It wasn't the prettiest of victories, but style points are not the kind that matter as the Georgian Court University volleyball squad defeated the visiting University of the Sciences in Philadelphia (USP) Devils, 3-0 (25-23, 26-24, 25-20), Thursday evening in the GCU Wellness Center. The Lions not only improve to 18-8 and remain perfect with a 13-0 CACC record, but also secure their 64th consecutive conference victory, dating back to 2006. USP falls to 8-11 (8-6 CACC).

Senior Janelle Murdock paced Georgian Court with eight kills and nine digs. Senior libero Ana Cruz led all players with 16 digs while setter Lisamary Figueroa tied USP's Sarah Hickman with 23 assists. Cady Rich of the Devils led all scorers with 10 kills. Ari Leland led the visitors with 11 digs.

GCU hits the road for its next action when they travel to Rutherford, NJ this Saturday for a CACC match-up vs. Felician College (4-20, 3-10 CACC) at 1 pm.
