LAKEWOOD, NJ- The Georgian Court University volleyball team moved one step closer to its fourth consecutive conference championship as the Lions defeated the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia (USP), 3-0 (25-19, 25-17, 26-24), in the CACC Quarterfinals Tuesday evening at the GCU Wellness Center. GCU (25-9) has now won 71 straight conference matches.
Senior 
Janelle Murdock paced the Lions' offense with a team-high nine kills to go along six digs and four blocks. 
Joann Zayas (Sr.) collected five kills and seven digs. Seniors 
Lisamary Figueroa and 
Ana Cruz led all players with 27 assists and 17 digs, respectively.
USP's 
Cady Rich (Jr.) led the Devils (10-16) with nine kills and three solo blocks. 
Sarah Hickman (Jr.) led a balanced defensive attack for USP with seven digs and 23 assists. The Devils' entire lineup had at least one dig each.  
The Lions will now host Dominican College Friday evening (6 PM) in the CACC semifinals as the Lady Chargers (22-9) downed Post University tonight, 3-1. 
The other semifinals match will be Caldwell College (21-11) vs. Philadelphia University (31-5) at 8PM, also at GCU's Wellness Center.
