LAKEWOOD, NJ- The Georgian Court University soccer squad, winless over its last four contests, dropped a 1-0 decision to CACC-rival Caldwell College Saturday afternoon at the GCU Track & Field complex.

The Cougars (6-5, 5-4 CACC) broke a scoreless tie at 58:02 when Nikki D'Orsaneo (Jr.-Bowie, MD) knocked home a Francesca Marinucci (Fr.-Melbourne, Australia) pass for the decisive tally.

The Lions (6-6-2, 5-4-1 CACC) outshot Caldwell, 14-6, in the match and held an advantage in the corner kicks column, 9-5.

Caldwell goalkeeper Kristina Cabales (So.-Islip Terrace, NY) denied five GCU shots in the victory. Georgian Court netminder Shealyn Sullivan collected two saves in the defeat.

GCU will next play this Wednesday afternoon at 3:00 PM when they host the University of Bridgeport.
