PHILADELPHIA, PA- The Georgian Court University volleyball team snapped a two-game slide Wednesday evening with a 3-1 victory (12-25, 25-22, 25-16, 28-26) against CACC-rival University of the Sciences in the Bobby Morgan Arena.

With the victory, the Lions improve to 8-15 (8-5 CACC) while the Devils drop to 6-12 (4-10 CACC).

Amy Berry topped both squads with her 13 kills. Karol Oliveros distributed a team-high 24 assists while four different Lions tallied over 10 digs, including Nicole Sparks (19), Cindy Aquino (12), Giovanna Cartagena (11), and  Genesis Vasquez (10).

GCU hosts its second tri-match of the season this Saturday when they welcome Bloomfield College and Molloy College to the Wellness Center. The first match is scheduled for 10:00 AM.
