LAKEWOOD, NJ- The Georgian Court University volleyball team won both of its matches in Saturday's tri-match in the GCU Wellness Center, defeating CACC-foe Bloomfield College, 3-0, before ending the afternoon with a 3-1 triumph over Molloy College.

With the victories, the Lions improve to 10-15 (9-5 CACC).

In the opening match, GCU toppled the Lady Deacons, 25-22, 25-15, 25-16. Brandi Arsenault led the way with nine kills. Karol Oliveros distributed 20 assists while libero Nicole Sparks returned a game-high 23 digs.

The Lions dropped Molloy College, 25-14, 25-22, 28-26, 25-16, in the nightcap. Three Lions, including Stephanie Rivera (16 kills, .652 attack %), Amy Berry (15 kills) and Arsenault (14 kills, .367),
amassed over 10 kills apiece.

Sparks (19), Cindy Aquino (17), Berry (13), and Oliveros (11) topped GCU in the digs column while Oliveros tallied a new career-high of 44 assists.

In the middle contest of the day, Molloy topped Bloomfield, 3-1. The Lady Deacons finish the afternoon at 8-12 (7-9 CACC). Molloy goes home at 6-21.

Georgian Court welcomes Wilmington University to the Wellness Center this Tuesday at 7PM, which will be the volleyball team's Senior Night (Rivera and Giovanna Cartegena.)
