BLOOMFIELD, NJ- The Georgian Court University soccer team won its third straight contest Saturday morning as the Lions traveled to Bloomfield University and blanked the Deacons, 2-0.

GCU's (5-3-1, 5-1 CACC) three-game winning streak has come vs. CACC opponents and all three have been of the shutout variety. Goalkeeper Shealyn Sullivan collected eight saves in the victory, her fourth shutout of the year, and now lowers her goals-against-average to 0.64.

#Kelly Lyons# netted her 10th goal of the campaign at 28:37 while Shannon Mastrogiovanni headed home her first tally of the year at 60:08.

Bloomfield falls to 2-4-1 (0-4-1 CACC) after the defeat.

The Lions return to Investors Savings Bank Monday afternoon with a non-conference showdown with the Mavericks of Mercy College at 4:00 PM.
