LAKEWOOD, NJ- The Georgian Court University lacrosse team took down Post University, 24-2, in Thursday's CACC contest. The Lions (6-1) led 16-2 at the half and went on to shut out the Eagles (0-5), 8-0, in the second stanza.
Seven different GCU players enjoyed multi-goal games, including four goals apiece for 
Lauren Conaty and 
Daryl Carr. 
Jillian Hadfield led all scorers with six points (two goals, four assists).
Corrine Coyle (2 goals, 1 assist), 
Samantha Shaw (3 goals) and 
Molly Egan (1 goal) registered the first collegiate points of their careers. 
Georgian Court will next play on Tuesday afternoon at Philadelphia University. It will be the first meeting between the two rivals since last season's CACC championship game.
