LAKEWOOD, NJ- The Georgian Court University lacrosse team defeated a vastly improved Holy Family University squad Saturday afternoon by an 11-5 score in CACC action on Investors Savings Bank Field.

After leading by only a 5-3 score at the half, the Lions (10-1, 7-0 CACC) scored three goals before the 22-minute mark in the second half to take an 8-3 advantage.

Lauren Conaty (pictured) led GCU with three goals in the affair. Natalie Bermudez and Daryl Carr fired in two tallies of their own.

Christine Latteri won her 10th game of the year in net, collecting 12 saves in the complete-game effort.

Holy Family falls to 5-5 (4-3 CACC).
