LYNDHURST, NJ- A pair of first-half goals from junior forward Kelly Lyons was all the Georgian Court University soccer squad needed as the Lions blanked host-Felician College Saturday night, 2-0, for their first victory of the season.

Lyons netted unassisted tallies at 29:05 and 37:21, her first two scores of the campaign, and gives her 101 points in only 50 career collegiate contests. Goalkeeper Shealyn Sullivan denied four Felician shots to earn her first shutout of the year.

GCU evens its record at 1-1-1 (1-0 CACC) while the Golden Falcons fall to 0-3 (0-1 CACC).

The Lions return to Investors Savings Bank Field Tuesday afternoon for a CACC contest vs. Chestnut Hill College at 4PM.
