LAKEWOOD, NJ- The Georgian Court University volleyball squad dropped its third straight match and eighth of its last nine with a Friday night defeat to visiting Pace University in the Wellness Center, 3-0 (25-18, 25-16, 25-23).
The loss marks the Lions' second of the season to the Setters as GCU fell to Pace back on September 17th at the Bentley Invitational in Waltham, MA, 3-0 (12-25, 27-29, 14-25). The Setters (10-4) have now won 10 straight matches after dropping their first four contests of the year and have not lost a set since a 3-0 loss vs. Abilene Christian on September 3rd.

Tatiana Villariny led all players with her 14 kills while tying teammate
Amy Berry with a team-high eight digs.
Jaslene Lopez led the match with her 34 assists.
Pace's
Nora Rugova (Jr.-Mt. Kisco, NY) topped her squad with 11 kills while
Elyse Rowland (Jr.-Antioch, CA) led all players with 13 digs.
Shea Hansen (Sr.-Mesa, AZ) contributed a team-high 25 assists.
The Lions now must take on the 2010 CACC champions and the 2010 NCAA East Region champs back-to-back when they tackle Caldwell College and Dowling College in a Saturday tri-match at Caldwell. The Lions will play the Cougars in a CACC affair at 11:00 AM followed with a scrum vs. the Golden Lions at 3:00 PM.
