LAKEWOOD, NJ- The Georgian Court University volleyball squad fell to 6-7 in the CACC (7-17 overall) Monday evening with a 3-1 (18-25, 19-25, 25-14, 21-25) takedown to Nyack College in the GCU Wellness Center.
The Lions have not been able to string consecutive victories together since the fifth and sixth matches of the season (Chestnut Hill, 9/7; Felician, 9/10).
GCU's
Amy Berry topped all players with her 10 kills.
Francheska Cedres headlined the Lions' lineup with her 12 digs while
Dara Schroeder contributed 11 of her own.
Jaslene Lopez dished a match-high 23 assists.
Nyack's
Michelle Makela (Jr.-Cocoa, FL) controlled a game-leading 16 digs. The Warriors up their record to 9-11 (8-5 CACC).
Things do not lighten up for Georgian Court as they welcome first-place Holy Family University to "The Well" Tuesday evening at 7:00 PM
