LAKEWOOD, NJ- The Georgian Court University lacrosse squad cruised to its fourth straight victory and 26th consecutive regular-season triumph over a CACC opponent as the Lions toppled rival Philadelphia University, 19-5.
Ryan McGrath led the GCU onslaught with an astounding 10 points (five goals, five assists) while fellow senior
Lauren Conaty contributed five goals and two assists for seven points.
Molly McCourt (3 goals, assist), Corrine Coyle (2 goals, assist),
Stephanie Gallo (2 goals) and
Amanda Dilger (2 assists) contributed multi-point contests.
Jillian Hadfield, appearing in her first game since March 9th at C.W. Post University, also slid in two goals and shared an assist in Wednesday's win.
Jennifer Molzon improved to 4-4 in net for Georgian Court as she garnered six saves in 60 minutes while improving her CACC-leading goals-against-average to 11.11.
Georgian Court improves to 4-4 (4-0 CACC) while the Lady Rams fall to 2-4 (2-1 CACC).
The Lions take to the road again Saturday afternoon (1PM) with a trip to Chestnut Hill College. Georgian Court dropped the Griffins, 20-1, on March 15.
