LAKEWOOD, NJ- The Georgian Court University lacrosse squad conducted its annual Senior Day celebration Thursday afternoon prior to its 18-5 victory over Wilmington University (4-11, 3-7 CACC) as nine Lions suited up for the final regular-season contest of their collegiate careers.

Lauren Conaty,
Amanda Dilger, #Jillian Hadfield#,
Shannon Mastrogiovanni,
Ryan McGrath,
Jilian Pennington, and
Amy Ramsthaler will all call it a career when the 2011 campaign concludes next weekend, hopefully as they hoist a second consecutive CACC championship banner.
Five seniors played a role in the day's scoring, including McGrath (5 goals, 4 assists), Mastrogiovanni (4 goals, assist), Dilger (2 goals, assist), Hadfield (goal), and Carr (assist).
The Lions' future tallied the remaining scores, including three goals from reigning CACC Rookie of the Week
Catherine Dee, two from
Stephanie Gallo and one from
Molly McCourt.
Pennington, in her first start of the season, earned the victory in net for the Lions as she denied five Wilmington shots in the effort.
The victory gives Georgian Court 33 consecutive regular season victories vs. CACC opponents.
GCU plays out of conference this Saturday when they travel to Kutztown University at 1:00 PM.
