LAKEWOOD, NJ- The Georgian Court University volleyball, playing its first home contest of the 2011 campaign, persevered to 3-1 (25-17, 12-25, 25-21, 29-27) CACC victory over a fiesty University of the Sciences roster Tuesday evening in the Wellness Center.
Maria Antimisiaris led the Lions' offensive attack with her game-high 12 kills.
Amy Berry provided 11 of her own to go along with eight digs.
Dara Schroeder tied her season high with a team-leading 11 digs.
Jaslene Lopez distributed 40 assists in the contest.
As for the Devils (0-7, 0-2 CACC),
Stacey Wooden (Jr.-Levittown, PA) collected a double-double with her 10 kills and game-high 17 digs.
Coral Holly (So.-Charlestown, RI) contributed 13 digs for the visitors.
The Lions return to action on Thursday evening when they travel to Wilmington University for a 7:00 PM match. The Lions fell to the Wildcats, 3-2 (25-21, 21-25, 25-14, 20-25, 11-15), September 3 at Millersville University's Marauders Fall Volleyball Clash.
