WALTHAM, MA- The Georgian Court University volleyball squad, on its annual journey to New England, went 0-3 in the Bentley Invitational, hosted by Bentley University.
The Lions opened the affair Friday evening with a 3-1 loss (14-25, 18-25, 25-18, 14-25) to the host-Falcons. GCU's
Amy Berry led all players with her 16 kills while teammate
Francheska Cedres topped everyone with 12 digs while leading the Lions with 22 assists.

Alex Tator (Fr.-Los Angeles, CA) distributed a game-high 30 assists.
Georgian Court returned to the floor Saturday morning with a 3-0 defeat (12-25, 27-29, 14-25) vs, Pace University. Berry again led the Lions with kills (8) while Cedres did the same in the digs column (13).
Jaslene Lopez tallied a team-high 11 assists.
Pace's
Tamilee Webb (Jr. Hartsdale, NY) led all players with her 10 kills while
Elyse Rowland (Jr.-Antioch, CA) topped all participants with 18 digs.
Shea Hansen (Sr.-Mesa, AZ) dispersed a game-high 30 assists for the victorious Setters.
The afternoon ended with another 3-0 trip-up for the Lions, this time to Stonehill College (10-25, 20-25, 18-25). Berry, for the third straight game, led the GCU charge with seven kills. #
Suzette Englemann# topped the squad with eight digs while Lopez contributed eight assists.
Kirsten Arvidson (So.-Andover, MA) of the Skyhawks led all players with 12 digs. Teammate
Sydney Maxey (So.-Hutto, TX) controlled 12 digs while
Emily Iverson (Fr.-Elmhurst, IL) distributed 21 assists.
For her efforts, Berry earned a spot on the All-Tournament Team.
GCU (4-8) returns home to host CACC-rival Philadelphia University Tuesday evening at 7:00 PM in the Wellness Center.
