LAKEWOOD, NJ- The Georgian Court University lacrosse team snapped its season-high four-game losing streak and improved to 8-3 in CACC (9-6 overall) with a 19-0 blanking of visiting Post University Thursday afternoon.

Eight different Lions found the back of the net, including Corinne Coyle (5 goals, 1 assist); Stephanie Gallo (four goals, 1 assist);  Catherine Dee (two goals, 1 assist); Olivia Rotunno (2 goals); Molly McCourt (2 goals, 2 assists); Samantha Shaw (2 goals); Brisamar Cruz (1 goal) and Kelly Lyons (1 goal). For Cruz and Lyons, it marked the first goal of their college careers.

Goalkeepers Amanda Cathcart (53:20, 7 saves) and Anna Kibrick (6:40) combined for GCU's first shutout since March 24th, 2011 when they beat Post, 20-0.

The Lions close out the CACC portion of their regular season on Saturday afternoon with a road contest at Chestnut Hill College. Game time is scheduled for 4:00 PM.
