Rutherford, N.J.- The Georgian Court University volleyball squad survived a "trap match" of sorts Saturday morning as the Lions improved to 9-1 in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) competition (11-9 overall) with a 3-1 victory at Felician College.
GCU now returns home to host first-place Wilmington University (15-8, 10-1 CACC) Sunday afternoon at noon in the Wellness Center Arena. The home team squandered a 17-8 advantage in game three as the Lions stormed back to win it, 26-24. It was more of the same in the fourth and final game as GCU eeked out a 25-23 win to secure the victory.
