Lakewood, N.J.- The Georgian Court University volleyball team, doing what it does best, went to five sets for the second straight  match (and seventh time this season) Wednesday evening with a high-flying, 3-2 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) victory over visiting USciences in the Wellness Center.
The Devils (6-14, 2-5 CACC) took the first set by a 25-21 score before the Lions (8-8, 6-1 CACC) evened the score at 1-1 with a 25-22 win in the second. USciences outlasted GCU, 27-29, in a marathon third set before the home team swiped sets four and five by the score of 25-16 and 15-4.
Anabelle Barinas led all players with her 16 kills while teammate 
Tatiana Villariny Rodriguez added 15 of her own. 
Gabriela Berrios-Hernandez came within one dig (9 total) of a double-double as she contributed 10 kills. 
Jaslene Lopez compiled a unique double-double with 45 assists and 11 service aces while #Francheska Cedres led the Lions with 15 digs.
For the Devils, 
Amanda DeAngelo (Jr.-Vestal, N.Y.) topped the roster with 13 kills and an impressive .423 hitting average. 
Kaileen Bevenour (Jr.-Sicklerville, N.J.) distributed 37 assists for USciences while 
Nicole Rivera (So.-Pittsford, N.Y.) led her club with 10 digs.
Georgian Court returns to action Saturday when they host CACC-foe Concordia College at 12:00 p.m., followed by a non-conference showdown vs. St. Anselm College at 2:00 p.m.
