Bridgeport, Conn.- With nine days passing since clinching the 2013 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) title, the Georgian Court University volleyball squad finally has an opponent in next week's NCAA Division II Regional Championship Tournament.

The #8 seed Lions will travel to Connecticut on Thursday, December 5th for an opening round showdown at top-seed University of Bridgeport, commencing at 5:00 p.m. #6 NYIT will take on #3 Dowling College at noon, followed by #7 Franklin Pierce University vs. #LIU-Post at 2:30 p.m. Day One concludes with #5 Adelphi University battling #4 University of New Haven at 7:30 p.m. All matches will be played in Bridgeport's Hubbell Gym.

GCU (20-12) last faced the Purple Knights (21-2) back on 9/11/10 in the Bentley University Invitational. The Lions enter the NCAA Tournament with a five-game winning streak while the University of Bridgeport has been victorious in 15 consecutive contests.
