Melissa Williams scored five goals each and three other Lions enjoyed multi-goal efforts as the Georgian Court University lacrosse squad snapped its two-game slide with a 22-2 rout of Nyack College in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) action.
GCU evened its record at 5-5-1 (5-2) with the victory while the Warriors remain winless in its initial season (0-8, 0-7 CACC).
Lauren Lebo (Fr.-West Simsbury, Conn.) gave Nyack a 1-0 advantage with a goal at 28:18. The Lion responded with 22 unanswered goals with the final tally coming at 9:32, Coyle's fifth of the afternoon.
Coyle compiled seven total points (two assists) while Williams provided six (one assist).
Stephanie Gallo poured in four goals and distributed three assists.
Molly McCourt achieved a hat trick to go along with an assist.
Catherine Dee contributed three of her own points (two goals, one assist) in the triumph.
The Lions return home for a 12:00 p.m. contest Saturday afternoon when they host Chestnut Hill College in another CACC showdown.
