PHILADELPHIA – The Georgian Court University women's soccer squad defeated host-Philadelphia University, 1-0, in double overtime on an 110th-minute goal Tuesday afternoon in CACC action.
The match-deciding goal came on a corner kick taken by

Nicole Petrosino in a crowd about seven yards away from the net. Petrosino deposited into the left side of the net with 22 seconds remaining to give Georgian Court (2-1-1, 2-0-0 CACC) the win.
Philadelphia (0-2-0, 0-2-0 CACC) had an opportunity in the first overtime on a free kick taken by senior defender Nicole Van Bourgodien (Southold, N.Y./Southold) 30 yards away, but Georgian Court's Casey O'Connor was able to reach up and make the save.
With 9:45 left in regulation, sophomore midfielder
Patrice Maro (Westmont, N.J./Haddon Twp.) attempted a blast from 20 yards out that was heading just under the crossbar, but the shot was punched over the crossbar by a leaping O'Connor.
