Waterbury, Conn.- The Georgian Court University men's soccer squad suffered its seventh one-goal defeat of the campaign Saturday afternoon as host-Post University edged the Lions, 2-1, in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) action.

The game remained scoreless until Post's Jacob Butler-Bowden (Adelaide, Australia) found Tiago Martins (Porto, Portugal) at 39:44 to make it 1-0 Eagles. GCU countered at 64:09 when Michael Clarke (So.-Essex, UK) headed in a Sebastian Gostynski (So.-Garfield, N.J.) corner-kick for his team-leading 11th goal of the season (2nd in CACC).

The score would remain knotted at 1-1 until 81:00 when senior Mamadou Balde (Conakry, Guniea) scored off a corner kick to secure the 2-1 triumph for Post.

The Eagles (6-7, 4-6 CACC) owned a slight 14-11 shot advantage while dominating in the corners, 12-4.

The Lions (3-9-2, 3-5-1 CACC) look to snap their six-game slide Wednesday afternoon with a non-conference home game vs. Queens College at 3:30 p.m.
