Lakewood, N.J.- After not having played to a scoreless draw since 2008, the Georgian Court University women's soccer squad compiled its second such result Tuesday afternoon against visiting Queens College on Investors Savings Bank Field.

The Lions (8-4-3) also ended in a 0-0 stalemate on October 5th at NYIT, the first since doing the same against Molloy College back on October 18, 2008.

Casey O'Connor (Jr.-Toms River, N.J.) improved to 7-3-3 in the GCU net after tallying five saves in 110:00. Mersina Onesto (Sr.-Rockville Centre, N.Y.) of Queens College collected six saves in the complete-game effort.

GCU outshot the Knights (4-7-3) by a 12-9 margin and owned a 6-4 advantage in corner kicks.

The Lions immediately return to action Wednesday afternoon with a non-conference road contest at St. Thomas Aquinas College. Start time is scheduled for 3:00 p.m.
