East Stroudsburg, Pa.- The Georgian Court University men's soccer squad dropped to 0-5 away from campus (3-6-2 overall) Monday evening with a 2-1 non-conference setback at East Stroudsburg University. The Warriors improve to 4-6-1 after the triumph.
After 40 minutes of scoreless action, ESU made the first move at 40:05 when
Casey Albino (So.-Scott Township, Pa.) put the home team ahead, 1-0, courtesy of a
Christian Bukowski (Fr.-Stroudsburg, Pa.) pass. The Lions knotted the affair 2:08 into the second half, when
Ben Vergara (Sr.-Toms River, N.J.) scored his eighth tally of the year off a feed from
Garrett McVeigh (So.-Cherry Hill, N.J.).
The score remained tied until the 61st minute (60:24) when
Casey Choffy (Jr.-Kutztown, Pa.) knocked home the game-winner on a
Jeff Wolf (So.-Telford, Pa.) assist.

J.B. Pahls (Jr.-Honesdale, Pa.) secured the victory, snaring five saves in the complete-game effort. GCU's
Rylan Gentil (Sr.-Poseyville, Ind.) was saddled with the defeat, permitting the winning score in 45 minutes of action (three saves).
The Warriors edged the Lions, 12-11, in the shot column.
Georgian Court, losers of three straight, look to snap its slide when they return to CACC action and host Dominican College Saturday afternoon at 2:30 p.m.
