Kanavy and Polaski each found the back of the net again for Post to start the second stanza, making the score 8-4 with 20:59 remaining. Molly McCourt increased the GCU surplus to 9-4 at 19:02 but the Eagles refused to go away as Polaski and Meghan Diggett (Sr.-East Islip, N.Y.)  countered with goals to put Post within three (9-6) with 7:54 left in regulation.
