Lakewood, N.J.- The Georgian Court University men's and women's soccer squads each host Nyack College this Saturday for their first Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) doubleheader of the season. While the GCU student-athletes compete vs. the Warriors, plenty of activity has been scheduled in conjunction with this "Soccer Saturday."

The Lions will be celebrating its annual "Youth Appreciation Day" thorughout the afternoon. The day is an opportunity for GCU's student-athletes to honor young soccer players as they pursue their dreams on the pitch. Events of the day include a Crossbar Challenge contest during the halftime of the women's game while the GCU men will celebrate the birthday of their newest TEAM IMPACT member, Matthew Valiante. Both teams will be also hosting post-game "Meet and Greets" and autograph sessions with the fans.

The day will also feature United States National Team goal keeper Jillian Loyden, who will be in attendance from 11:30-2pm to sign autographs and take pictures with the up- and-coming soccer players. Jill will be representing the Jill Loyden Foundation ,which works with children of domestic violence. Jill will be selling "Every Voice Counts" T-shirts, with the proceeds from those sales going to the aid of domestic violence victims.

The women's game is scheduled for 12pm while the men are scheduled to kick off at approximately 2:30pm.
