Lakewood, N.J.- The Georgian Court University volleyball squad climbed above the .500 mark with its third straight victory Tuesday evening as the Lions took care of business vs. visiting Goldey-Beacom College with a 3-0 shutout of the Lightning (25-16, 25-23, 25-15).
The victory improves GCU's overall record to 11-10 and moves them to 6-3 vs. Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) opponents. Goldey-Beacom tumble to 5-12 (1-8 CACC).
Taylor Winchester topped the Lions with nine kills, to go along with six digs, while
Peggy Rosario provided eight kills and eight digs.
Kelsie Blue drilled five kills and tallied seven total blocks (6 blocking assists).
Kelsey Oliver led all players with her 28 assists.
The Lions next travel to divisional-rival, Philadelphia University, this Thursday for a 7:00 p.m. match.
