Lakewood, N.J.- The Georgian Court University volleyball squad inched within one game of .500 (8-9), while improving to 4-2 in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) play, as the Lions made quick work of visiting Concordia College, 3-0, Saturday afternoon on Homecoming Day at GCU.
The Lions completed the three-set sweep with scores of 25-12, 25-18, and 25-22. The Clippers fall to 2-5 (2-5 CACC) after the setback.
Kelsie Blue soared for a team-best nine kills in the triumph while
Kelsey Oliver did her thing by leading all players with 18 assists.
Taylor Winchester settled a game-high 17 digs while teammate
Nerishka Cruz De La Rosa contributed 12 of her own.
GCU heads out on the road this Wednesday evening with a CACC contest at Chestnut Hill College. Start time is slated for 7:00 p.m.
