Lakewood, N.J.- The Georgian Court University volleyball team, playing its first home dual match of the 2015 campaign, snapped a three-game slide with an efficient 3-0 victory Tuesday evening over visiting University of the Sciences in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) action.
The Lions (7-8, 3-1 CACC) completed the sweep with set wins of 25-17, 25-21 and 25-16). The Devils fall to 2-7 (1-3 CACC).
Peggy Rosario led the way for GCU with her seven kills while
Kelsey Oliver, in usual fashion, topped the club with 19 assists.
Taylor Winchester settled 10 digs while
Kelsie Blue was a force above the net with three solo blocks and three blocking assists.
A mighty CACC showdown awaits on the horizon for the Lions as GCU travels to divisional foe, Wilmington University, Thursday evening at 7:00 p.m.
