Waterbury, Conn.- The Georgian Court University women's volleyball squad traveled to Connecticut Saturday afternoon and suffered a 3-0 setback (14-25, 12-25, 10-25) vs. Post University in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) action.
The Lions fall to 10-13 (7-3 CACC) on the year while the two-time defending conference champions improve to an impressive 17-3 (8-1 CACC) overall.
Jennifer Smith topped the GCU offense with her seven kills while
Kelsey Oliver dished 15 assists.
Janelli Torres collected a match-best 18 digs in the contest.Â
Georgian Court returns home this Wednesday night for another conference match, this time vs. University of the Sciences at 6:00 p.m.
