Lakewood, N.J.- The Georgian Court University women's volleyball squad needed just 1:01 to extinguish the University of the Sciences Wednesday evening as the Lions sent the Devils packing after earning the victory in three efficient sets (25-19, 25-9, 25-17).
The Lions currently sit in second place in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) South Division standings at 8-3 (11-13 overall). USciences moves to 5-9 on the year (4-7 CACC).
Peggy Rosario led the charge with her ninth double-double of the season, which consisted of games-highs of 10 kills and 20 digs.
Kelsey Oliver shared 28 assists while
Janelli Torres collected 10 digs.
GCU stays home to host a tri-match this Saturday as the Lions welcome Felician University (11:00 a.m.) and Assumption College (3:00 p.m.) to the Wellness Center.
