Lakewood, N.J.- The Georgian Court University men's basketball squad faltered vs. visiting Concordia College Saturday afternoon, falling to the Clippers by an 88-74 decision in the GCU Wellness Center.
The defeat puts Concordia above .500 in CACC play (9-8) while improving to 12-14 overall. The Lions drop to 5-19 on the year (4-13 CACC) after the setback.
The first half belonged to the visitors as the Clippers dominated the first 20:00 of action with a mighty 46-27 advantage heading into intermission. Concordia increased its surplus to a game-high 28 points (80-52) with 8:34 remaining before the Lions saved face by closing the contest with a nifty 22-8 run.

Stephen Milhaven (Fr.-Port Washington, N.Y.) came within a rebound of a double-double performance, providing a game-high 24 points in the process.
Andrew Peacock (Jr.-Washington, D.C.) added 22 points of his own, burying five three-pointers en route to the victory.
Keith Hughes paced the GCU offense with his 18 points, shooting 8-of-16 from the floor.
Hamilton Capellan and
Michael Pierre added a dozen each for the Lions, followed by an even 10 from
Nikola Vujovic.
Georgian Court returns to action Thursday night when the Lions host Philadelphia University at 8:00 p.m.
